Update 2 : Another version of the theme is available. It’s really lightweight (less than 100 ko) because it uses the default icons. You can get it by clicking here. Diego and Amjad should be happy 
Its really nice, but personally I think that default icons looks better.

@diego : what do you mean by « default » icons ? I thought the ones I used where default for S60v3 ?! How do I get to see the defaut icons you’re talking about ?

Very nice icons & kooky colours! Think the calender & music player would look better if the backgrounds followed the same colour scheme.

This is a wonderful theme. But I have to say two comments: First is a bit latge, second the highlight color during field filling in calendar and third pary applicstion is whitish (white) and the text color is also white which makes filling fields very dificult. Make the highlight color orange, it will be awsome.

Regarding the color problem when filing in calendar and some other applications, I have no clue yet of how I can fix that : the color is the same as the color used for the highlighted text for the icons…

Les couleurs de ce theme ne seront sans doute pas du gout de tout le monde mais personnelement, j’adore. Si les derniers petits bugs étaient résolus, ce serait certainement l’un des meilleurs themes créé jusqu’a présent pour S60.
Tous les screenshots ont été pris sur mon E61:
- Dans Messaging, le nom de l’expéditeur d’un message apparait en gris sur gris lorsqu’il est sélectionné: http://cjoint.com/?kql1Ax4FiR

Au fait, les nouvelles icones dans ce theme sont superbes. J’espere que les nouvelles versions de ce themes seront disponibles en version « custom icons ».
@viocc: récupérez la toute version : le problème de la couleur du texte dans certaines zones de saisie est – en principe – corrigé.
Pour les icônes, il y a deux versions.
Le problème des couleurs dans la messagerie et Opera Mobile vient de la manière dont le E61 exploite les données du thème. Je me demande si je ne vais pas finir par faire une version spéciale E61…
Merci igrec, j’ai installé la derniere version et effectivement, le probleme avec les list boxes a été résolu. C’était le principal probleme avec ce theme, du coup il est maintenant vraiment utilisable. Et ca c’est bien

I too have same problems with the theme on the E61, names in viewed messages and addresses in web browser are unreadable. Brilliant theme and an E61 version would be great. Many thanks.

Message text now readable but in web browser when u enter enter a web address then enter a second one it is unreadable, white background with very light yellow text. Your getting there, many thanks
@blushy : thanks for pointing this out. I can’t manage to find a way to correct this for the moment. I’ll investigate the problem.
@blushy : I wonder if it’s not a bug wether in the web browser or in Carbide UI; I encounter the exact same problem with Pearl Black theme. I’m gonna try to find a way to modify my theme’s behavior in order to cope with that.
Many themes seem to have the problem, I think it’s a problem in the web browser as when u load it and the address bar the first time shows text correctly but when you enter another address it shows incorrectly. Your theme is definitely the best there is. Love it.

Y a un petit probleme avec ton fichier sis. J’ai essayé d’installer la derniere version au dessus de la version précedente. Au lieu de me demander si je voulai remplacer la version précédente par la nouvelle, l’installeur a simplement installé la nouvelle version. Mais a la fin de l’install, message d’erreur: « Unable to install » (message d’erreur typiquement S60: completement inutile).
J’ai essayé de redémarrer le téléphone, de selectionner au autre theme avant d’installer la nouvelle version, rien a faire: Unable to install. J’ai finalement du me résigner a désinstaller manuellement la version précédente via App. Manager et apres ca, plus de problemes pour installer la nouvelle version.
@viocc : j’ai constaté le même soucis. Je pense que c’est lié au fait que l’installeur du téléphone ne détecte pas de différence de versions entre le thème installé et le fichier sis. Problème : je ne sais pas comment gérer des numéros de version dans le logiciel de création de thèmes de Nokia. Je ne pense pas être le seul dans ce cas : j’ai déjà rencontré le même problème avec d’autres thèmes.
@igrec, I was thinking that I love Kooky concept, I’m using that theme, and can I ask for a variation of that theme?
May be a combination of different colors, black, strong yellow, red and strong green… I really like simple themes with strong colors.
